19th Century Figured Walnut Writing Table
The recently re-covered rectangular top is cross-banded in walnut above two concealed full length drawers. The shaped and carved frieze is repeated to the reverse with shaped sides flanked with crisply carved double inverted shells to the corners. The solid cabriole walnut legs are carved in the solid with fine lines that terminate on scrolled toes and raised feet.
