The knopped cylindrical column has beaded scrolled supports decorated with leafy scrolls and foliate motifs and stands on a shaped triangular spreading base. The height is adjustable. The lampshade is newly handmade in a William Morris pattern by the same maker who provides the shades for Downton Abbey. The lamp has been converted to electric, rewired with authentic corded flex, and is fitted with either a foot or finger clicker switch. It is PAT tested.
