Mid 19th century Victorian period oak pedestal desk. The rectangular oak top has recently been relined with gilt tooled black leather and is raised above a full length mahogany lined central drawer. The two smaller drawers that flank the centre drawer sit above three graduated pedestal drawers. The free standing desk is fitted with the original oak turned knobs, locks and escutcheons. The desk sits on brass castors.
Knee hole is 70cm wide and 61cm high.
