The extending telescopic standard oil lamp has an adjustable Corinthian column above ring-pull leopard heads and outswept supports that sit on a triform platform base and stand on pad feet. The lamp has been converted to electricity and the lampshades are newly handmade silks. The lamp has been rewired with authentic corded flex and fitted with a foot switch and is PAT tested.
The lamp was sold to HRH Queen Victoria by J Sibbald & Sons, 64 George St. Edinburgh (Ironmongers).
