Small 19th Century Ivory Vizagapatam Single Tea Caddy


circa 1815 - 1825

The pagoda top is engraved with a floral inked pattern with a silver unmarked label. The hinged lid opens to reveal more floral decoration and retains the original lid and turned Ivory knob. The tea caddy is veneered with solid ivory uprights with a silver escutcheon to front and sits above a decorated moulding that stands on a turned ivory bun feet.
