Four Regency Beechwood Side Chairs

Four Regency Beechwood Side Chairs

circa 1815

The set of four early 19th century carved side chairs are made in solid beechwood and polished to a mellow mahogany colour and retain the original finish. The top cresting rail with its leaf-carved scrolled volutes and centred lobed shell decoration and looped centre splat is set on a reeded seat frame. The drop in seats stand on out-swept front and rear legs.
