Early 19th century mahogany partners desk.

The black leather writing surface is mounted on an inverted top with a bevelled thumb nail edge above one long and two short drawers. To the reverse the two short drawers sit above cupboard doors that open to reveal single shelves.

The pedestals are finished off to the corners with rounded capitals and to the front there is a bank of graduated drawers that retain the original turned wooden handles. The desk is made with recessed panels to all sides and is raised on a plinth base that stand on concealed castors.
