The table has wide rosewood cross-banding to the mahogany top, with two full-length oak-lined drawers with later replace lion-head handles. The rosewood in-set rectangular panels to the frieze are complemented by the cross banding to the drawer fronts. The mahogany ring-turned supports and stretcher have contrasting ebonised rings. The out-splayed legs with inset rosewood panels terminate with the original brass paw feet.
