Early 19th Century Book Stand

The solid rosewood gallery is made with spindle turnings below a rosewood bevelled moulding above a figured rosewood crossbanding.
The second inner crossbanding is made in amboyna and frames a figured fruitwood veneer.
The stand is finished with a coromandel edge above a baize lining to the underside.
