Nineteenth Century William IV Eight Seater Circular Mahogany Dining Table

Nineteenth Century William IV Eight Seater Circular Mahogany Dining Table

circa 1826 - 1836

The highly figured flamed mahogany segments are very much in the style of the " Victorian mahogany 'Jupe's patent' expanding dining table by Johnstone & Jeanes", The top with a veneered shallow frieze sits above a four magnificent flamed mahogany columns supported by a concave plinth base above four crisply carved hairy paw feet and concealed brass castors.

Condition

The eight seater circular flamed mahogany dining table retains an old untouched surface to the top. The base has been revived and the tilt top table is detachable but is attached to the base with the original bolts.
