This crossbanded walnut tea chest/caddy has the original maker's label inside with a concealed rent drawer. The item is clearly illustrated on Pg. 168 Item 263, 264 in the 'Pictorial Dictionary of Marked London Furniture 1700-1551840' by Christopher Gilbert.
