Pair of early 19th century large scale 'Grand Tour' bronze tazzas on Sienna marble plinths.
The patinated bronze tazzas are in the neo-classical taste, with each patinated bronze tazza having a beaded rim and reeded edge over a gadrooned tapering bowl. The scrolled acanthus leaf handles are supported by a waisted circular socle with a foliate upturned leaf base.
The tazzas are raised on well figured square Sienna marble plinths with finely chased lappet cast mounts over a stepped base.
In very good condition. Fine bronze work with lively veined Sienna marble veneers.
