The tortoiseshell on this rare decagonal tent top tea caddy has a deep green hue and is separated by contrasting ivory stringing. It has a horn lipped base, vacant silver initial plate, escutcheon and a hinge and pull handle. The interior comprises two compartments with bone-handled green tortoiseshell lids. The caddy has a fully working lock and key.
