The oval table has a shaped gallery and brass carrying handles. The top is banded in stained sycamore with a central oval panel inlaid with musical instruments and ribbons within ebony stringing. The oval Sheraton design panel is surrounded by finely figured satinwood and inlaid with harebells and ribbons in various local and exotic imported woods. The table is raised on four square and tapering outswept satinwood legs with further inlay and boxwood and ebony stringing and shaped corner brackets. The legs are joined by a curved “X” frame stretcher with mahogany stringing and a central satinwood oval patrae.
