Rare 18th Century Chippendale Period Carved Giltwood Border Glass
The large scale mirror is of the highest quality all carved wood and water-gilded. Original mercury silvered outer border glass mirrors with the centre plate also retaining the mercury silvered grey tones.
The frame is finely carved and executed with interlacing 'S' and 'C' scrolls, double gadrooned border carvings and the crisply carved rococo crest and base.
