The highly figured rosewood canterbury has lyre-shaped divisions and turned rosewood supports which sit on plinth bases which are carved, moulded and finished from front to back above a concealed cedar lined drawer. With the carved flower and leaf decorated base above a scrolled moulding and concealed castors, this is an impressive piece of furniture. The overall scale is small and elegant because the lyre-shaped supports and divisions are only 43cm wide and 30cm deep.
