The chairs with their classic shield-back design are beautifully worked with delicate carving of great quality to the back splat. We have re-covered the seats with a period design damask using the original horse-hair stuffings. Consistent with their age, the chairs have variously been restored over time and have some later elements, repairs and restorations. In excellent condition throughout, it is rare to find such an elegant long-set of chairs available for sale.
