A fine George II figured walnut lowboy of excellent colour and patina.
The top of rectangular form, with rounded front corners, quarter veneered, cross banded, with a thumb nail moulded edge. The front with a top long, oak lined, barber strung inlaid drawer fitted the original brass plate handles.
The central short drawer is flanked by another to each side. A scrolling lower apron joins the front cabriole legs that terminate on elegant split cabriole foot and mirrored to the reverse.
The lowboy retains a warm golden colour and stands well.
