Early 19th century late Regency yew wood teapoy.
The segmented octagonal top is crossbanded in yew wood with a sunburst effect with a centralised octagonal tablet. The lid edges are crossbanded with double moulded applied reeded bands above the yew wood body frieze. The top opens to reveal a burgundy damask silk lining and is raised on a faceted yew wood panelled pedestal.
The single pedestal terminates on a ring-turned collar above a triform plinth base that sits above three out-splayed feet that terminate on the original gilt brass castors.
