The chair's solid mahogany frame has fine reeded mouldings which are crisp and of good quality. The swept-back arms rest on stiff leaf decorated capitals above carved patera and reeded seat rails. The bergère chair stands on finely tapered reeded legs which terminate on solid mahogany block feet.
