George III Circular Dining Rosewood Breakfast Table

George III Circular Dining Rosewood Breakfast Table

circa 1790

The table has stunning book matched veneers cross banded with a thin satinwood and ebony stringing with a wider rosewood band then cross banded to the edge with West Indian Satinwood banding. There are rosewood veneers to the table's edge. The ring turned gun barrel mahogany pedestal stands on outswept mahogany legs with rosewood and satinwood stringing inlaid to them. These features along with the original brass castors makes this table rare.
