The dumb waiter is fitted with brass Greek key galleries. It has a fixed top tier with the lower tier free to rotate 360 degrees. The mahogany veneers are stunning and retain great colour and patination. The dumb waiter stands on a turned baluster column with outswept reeded legs.
This form of dumb waiter was illustrated in Gillows estimate sketch book dated 14 February 1803, for Le Gendre Pierce Stark esq.
