The decagonal (10-sided) tea caddy with ivory panels is separated by tortoiseshell inlays with a mother of pearl decoration around the silver handle. The lid opens to reveal a single floating lid with a silver handle. The silver escutcheon sits above mother of pearl decoration and a silver initial plaque.
