A George III 18th century period mahogany serpentine chest of drawers.
The serpentine shaped mahogany top sits above a brushing slide and four graduated drawers. The full length oak-lined drawers are still fitted with the original brass locks. The Hepplewhite designed brass ring-pull handles to the mahogany fronts are later replaced but very much in keeping with the piece. The Hepplewhite period chest stands on its original bracket feet.
The chest of drawers has a good colour and untouched look. The proportions are elegant with a deep serpentine front.
