The old leather to the top to of the desk has a good patina and is fitted with a mahogany banding and a thumb-nail moulding above richly figured mahogany sides with one centre drawer flanked by two short drawers with a carved centre arch to the reverse. The highly figured mahogany drawer fronts are fitted with the original gilt brass 'swan-neck' handles and back plates and have oak linings and cock beadings. The partners desk stands on chamfered tapered legs with block feet above semi-concealed brass castors.
