The late George III period breakfront inlaid bookcase with highly figured plum pudding mahogany panels, crossbanded in sycamore with harewood and boxwood stringing. The bookcase sits on a mahogany veneered plinth and comes apart in seven pieces.
All the glazing is original and couple of sections of glass do show old but stable cracks.
It is very unusual to see a bookcase with such a variety of inlaid woods from this period.
