The exceptional linen press has highly figured door panels which are solid mahogany and not veneered, with cartouche fielded frames. The press has the original cedar-lined linen trays and oak lined drawers which stand on incised bracket feet.
Condition
The line press is in excellent condition.
Literature
The design of the cartouche panel doors and the design and proportions of the overhang to the cornice are typical of Phillip Bell.
