The early 19th century Regency period octagonal shaped cellaret is veneered in partridgewood and is fitted with superbly cast brass carry handles and a ring-pull lid handle. The cellaret opens to reveal a later replaced metal liner that is removable and practical for storing, chilling and icing bottles of wine. The wine cellaret stands on partridgewood veneered out-swept legs with the original brass castors.
