The cabinet has a raised and stepped two tier superstructure with its original pierced ormolu galleries. The upper shelf is supported by two chased ormolu columns and the lower shelf by two turned rosewood columns. The lower part has a breakfront centre section with two grill doors flanked by two further grill doors. The cabinet is supported on reeded bun feet, each foot below a reeded pilaster and carved volute.
