19th Century Birds Eye Maple Whatnot

English

circa 1826 - 1836

Early 19th century George IV three tier birds eye maple whatnot.

The birds eye maple veneers are well figured with a warm patina and honey colour. The tiers are supported on solid ring turned and tapered supports. The whatnot is made and fitted with a full length mahogany lined drawer. The drawer retains the original gilt brass lock and ring turned birds eye maple handles and is raised on ring turned and tapered legs that terminate on gilt brass caps and castors.
