George III 18th century serpentine mahogany and satinwood inlaid chest.

The satinwood top is crossbanded with mahogany and ebony stringing with a flamed mahogany oval inset veneer and ebony stringing.

The chest comprises of four graduated mahogany lined drawers. The top drawer is furnished with a brushing slide and a beige suede lining. The drawer fronts are crossbanded in satinwood and fitted with later gilt brass rococo style handles.

The figured sides are swept back from the centre canted corners and the chest is raised on mahogany veneered bracket feet.
