Rare 18th century George III period partridgewood and satinwood inlaid side table.

The semi elliptical top is crossbanded with West Indian satinwood, tulipwood, ebony and boxwood with a partridgewood veneer, a diminutive size and elegant with a broad frieze. The height of the frieze is deliberate in design to create a petite scale. The centralised plaque to the apron is flanked and inlaid with satinwood lozenge shaped motifs and raised on four boxwood strung inlaid tapered legs. The size and design is quite rare with the use of partridgewood.
