18th century George III Hepplewhite Period Tray on a modern mahogany stand
The butlers tray is of high quality with a well figured Cuban mahogany grain to the oval top. The shaped mahogany gallery is inlaid with brass stringing and fitted with fine gilt brass handles that are original to the piece. The tray is placed into a modern mahogany stand. The stand has a green baize to the top side and provides a sturdy base for the oval tray.
Condition
The butlers tray is of good scale and is undamaged.
