George III period carved giltwood Chinese Chippendale mirror.
The upturned leaf perched above a pagoda decorated with bells and 'C' scroll supports on an outcrop. The opposing ho ho birds sit on elongated 'C' scrolls, open fret mouldings, floral foliage and scrolling vines.
The Chinese Chippendale mirror draws down on a broad apron centred on an inverted stiff leaf carved crest to the bottom of the mirror.
The 18th century mirror is fitted with its original mercury mirror plate and is crisply carved.
It is of the finest quality.
