Fine 19th century William IV period mahogany extending dining table.

A highly figured dining table with three detachable leaves that sit on a mahogany telescopic action superstructure. The superstructure adapts the size of the table and the leaves are made in the solid.

The original clips can be stored in a concealed chip drawer and the extending dining table collapses down to the two separate 'D' end supports. The mahogany dining table can informally accommodate up to 16 diners.

The solid leaves are highly figured and are supported and raised on eight ring turned and reeded mahogany legs that terminate on the original gilt brass caps and castors.
