Early 19th Century Regency Period Tilt-Top Circular Table

The top is book-matched with lively veneers and brass string with rosewood cross banding and brass motifs above a shallow brass strung frieze. The table is supported a shaped centre pedestal that sits on rosewood and brass inlaid plinth base.
The table stands on four brass inlaid out swepted legs that terminate on elegant scrolled toes with gilt brass castors above bold up turned knees. The Regency centre table is a striking piece of early 19th century English antique furniture.
