Diminutive George IV/William IV Twin Pedestal Desk
The rectangular tooled leather lined top is finished in the original red and cross banded in mahogany. The desk is free standing with a generous kneehole width.
The freize is fitted with two short and one long drawer above a fitted moulding, the mahogany lined drawers are full length with crisp dovetails retaining the original gilt brass 'Patent' locks. The mahogany turned knobs that adorn the desk are also original and compliment the brass escutcheons.
The pedestals are raised on a mahogany plinth base and the desk although already compact in size is made in three parts.
