This was developed after an idea drawn out from a discussion with a friend. The idea was to celebrate and justify the existance of my local landmarks of Avebury and Stonehenge. These sites were visited and my own conclusions made up of what these sites represented back when they were constructed. So the cycles of the moon and sun are drawn in a way to celebrate time and space. The smallest suns have 32 rays, the mid sized two have 64 and the largest central sun has 128 . All these rays when entering the night sky turn white so the ink is drawn around the white rays, especially challenging when 6 or more rays converge in the night sky .The moons of course are going through their phases, represented at just over 28 days for the whole cycle to complete. The central ‘planet’ gives that base stability to the whole drawing.
