Early 18th Century Chippendale Mahogany Tea Table

Early 18th Century Chippendale Mahogany Tea Table

English

circa 1760 - 1770

Early George III Period Carved Tea Table

The solid rectangular mahogany top is of a good colour and opens on to a single gate leg support to reveal a mahogany surface. The tea table tops sit above cross cut vertical veneers, the veneers are book matched and offer a real difference to the overall quality.

The table is again slightly better in overall quality from the normal as all four legs are carved from the knees down to the ball and claw feet. The tea table is well drawn and handsome.
