18th Century Period Mahogany Hepplewhite Style Chest in the manner of Gillow of Lancaster and London.

The rectangular, serpentine fronted top retains a warm flamed mahogany grain with a bevelled moulded edge over an inlaid fluted frieze inlaid with ebony and boxwood. The inlaid canted corners flank four oak lined graduated drawers that retain the original gilt brass swan neck handles.

The serpentine chest is well drawn and is raised on the original ogee mahogany bracket feet.
