The figured mahogany top with three additional leaves retains a good colour and patina. The drop-leaf end supports with a crisply carved mahogany thistle a reeded moulded frieze conceal a concertina superstructure which extends or retracts to accommodate the leaves. The dining table stands on finely ring-turned tapered and swirled legs on brass capped castors.
