The decagonal shaped tea caddy has panels of ivory separated by horn, with a silver handle and vacant initial plate which is surrounded with silver pique dots below an ornate oval escutcheon. The interior has traces of its original lining and a single floating lid with silver handle. The caddy comes with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
