The rosewood veneered rectangular top is cross banded in satinwood and ebony stringing. The lid is inlaid with a floral marquetry pattern depicting a bouquet. The tea caddy opens to reveal two rosewood lids that retain the original turned knobs and black lining to the inside of the top. The lower section of the tea caddy is banded with rosewood panels inlaid with floral marquetry designs that complement each other.
