England
Circa 1785
The early Georgian mahogany chest with excellent colour and patination has a rectangular moulded top above three short and three long drawers, standing on the original slender ogee bracket feet. The chest is fitted with the original brass handles and excellent cast brass carry handles. The unusual arrangement of three short drawers with different centre drawer handles is elegant and effective in design and appearance.
