A well figured George III Chippendale period carved mahogany serpentine concertina action card table retaining its original patina and colour. The rear section of the table pulls out, the sides follow in a concertina action and a locking slide is pulled into place to form a rectangular rigid base. The serpentine top has a deep scrolling leaf moulding and opens to reveal a baize lined interior. The frieze has a barley twist moulding to the bottom and the whole is supported by fluted, moulded and chamfered legs with craved fretwork ears to the hip and standing on a pad foot base.
