The serpentine mahogany top is cross banded in tulipwood and sits above four graduated oak lined drawers. The drawer fronts retain the original ring pulled gilt brass handles with tulipwood cross bandings and fluted canted corners and stands on 'French' bracket feet. The Hepplewhite chest retains a good colour and patina.
