The D-shaped top is veneered in harewood, inlaid with a large fanned medallion and cross-banded in kingwood and the top opens to reveal a green baize playing surface which sits on a scissor-action gate leg support. The satinwood cross banded frieze is flanked by crisply cut and drawn flower heads that sit above finely tapered legs standing on solid spade feet.
