The solid Cuban mahogany rectangular top has a figured grain and retains a deep colour and patination. The top lifts up to reveal a green baize playing surface which is supported by a single gate-leg action leg at the back. The frieze is shaped and cut crisply with a carved shell to the centre. The table is supported on elegant cabriole legs with carved knees and a hairy paw foot.
