The circular book-matched veneered tilt-top breakfast table is bordered with 'Gillow' stylised foliate cut brass marquetry and lies above a shallow rosewood veneered frieze inlaid with brass stringing. The centre pedestal is crisply carved with lotus leaf turnings and a gadrooned collar that rests on a concave plinth base with brass string and brass cut marquetry inlaid hipped splayed legs. These terminate on the original gilt brass foliate caps and castors.
