The highly figured octagonal top is fixed to a solid ebony cock-headed piece. The concealed drawer to the front is mahogany lined and sits above a solid ebony moulding. The recently re-silked pleated box pulls out and is flanked by tapered scrolled trestle end supports. The centre stretcher is decorated with a solid ebony medallion and scrolled supports, above elegant splayed legs that terminate on the original brass capped castors.
